Brothers of Iota Phi Theta,
It has been a journey serving as your 22nd International Grand Polaris. A journey you can only appreciate when you look through the lens of the Grand Polaris. There is so much to be grateful for that this administration took part in, that truthfully is a struggle to record it all. There are many to thank, many to share my appreciation with that I cannot begin to name names but know I appreciate you for your support.
We are back where it all began preparing for another Conclave, however doing so now through the pandemic and for the first time a virtual conference. We are finding that today calls for more patience as we experience this process like many others for the first time. A pandemic has forced the organization to address a quest of many to indeed be virtual. We expect your confirmation by way of registering to participate.
Now we call on you to answer the call of participation during this Conclave. We need all brothers especially those serving in a leadership capacity in your chapter or region and certainly nationally to register, attend, and participate, one without the other does not serve our agenda.
Speaking of agenda, I believe we have prepared a well-rounded agenda and program that will be informative, project us into our future and train/develop members to create an even better Iota.
I look forward to seeing you at the Conclave.
Thank you for taking the time to visit the 2021 Virtual 38th International Conclave Website. Many have called for this opportunity over the years to be able to electronically participate while in most cases not leaving your home. Well, the time is here, and we must address the business of the fraternity during this pandemic and not let the pandemic dictate the direction this fraternity will move in.
Registration cost significantly lower! Travel none! Housing none, so what saith thee? All brothers are called to the floor to attend, not just a chapter delegate and alternate. All brothers young and old, tenured, and brand new must gather to participate in the discussion as to how we continue to make Iota great. Today’s Iota calls for all brothers to get involved nationally, regionally and of course in your local chapters.
This Conclave the organization will turn the corner on many topics, the question is will you be a participant, witness, or absent. The time is now to be about Progressing Through the Pandemic!
The National stroll-off competition will showcase teams demonstrating their agility, creativity, and understanding of rhythm and dance as they show precision, synchronization, originality, and showmanship.
1. Team must be brothers only.
2. Each participant must be a member of Iota Phi Theta.
3. Team must register by Friday, July 2, 2021

Iota Frat Chats are small group informal sessions to engage and activate support for the brotherhood. These 60 to 90 minute sessions gather fraternal engagement, opinions, ideas to engage others in a safe space. These frat chats are welcomed and open to all brothers to come together during the time of virtual interaction.
Participants are brothers of the seven regions and special guest Honorable Founder Lonnie C. Spruill, Jr.
LIFE MEMBER VIRTUAL WINE SOCIAL

This Exclusive event is the first of its kind. All registered life members will share in a mature space to sip and socialize with other life members virtually. This experience will be accompanied with a sip of the best wine red/white on the market while socializing with other life members. A variety of music such as R&B and Jazz will create a virtual environment of calm and relaxation. We look forward to welcoming the class of 2020/2021 life members as well.
OLE SCHOOL CHANT
Iota Chants and Songs unify the fraternity while building the brand and the movement of who we are. This Ole School Chant session will be comprised of the songs that have driven the love and heartbeat of Iota men. You and seasoned brothers will share chants and songs never heard before and recall some of the ole time favorites.
IOTA AFTER DARK
Need a space to connect with brothers from all over? Want to hear about what other regions, chapters are doing? Need ideas to make Iota better in your area? Iota After Dark is the place for you virtually. Be ready to share and learn what’s happening in the world of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.
“Diversity, Equality and Inclusion... How Are We Included” is this year’s theme and discussion topic. The Leadership of the National Pan-Hellenic Council and special guests will discuss this important topic in today’s climate. We must be specific to what our voices should resound collectively. Thursday, July 29, 2021
Friday, July 30, 2021 your region will gather to provide a follow up opportunity for you to address concerns to your regional leadership to carry forth to the fraternal leadership, provide additional clarity to a specific bylaw being considered for amendment or equally important to meet perhaps the new leadership in your region and associated chapters. Take and make the advantage, do not lose it by not using it.
NATIONAL AWARDS LUNCHEON
Saturday, July 31, 2021 as we begin to close another successful Conclave the fraternity will stop again to thank the brothers, chapters and regions that have gone above and beyond and made the extra effort to provide support to our fraternity and the communities it serves. This year responding to the voices of our membership, the Thomas “Tex” Dean Award will be added to the awards luncheon program.
The brothers of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. and Iota Sweethearts, Inc. are collaborating once again to host a silent auction this summer during the 38th International Conclave. The purpose of this auction is to raise money for the national initiatives of each organization. This year the Conclave will be held virtually. You will be able to bid on fraternal memorabilia and other great prizes.
If you, your chapter, or your region would like to donate an item, please click the donate form button below to complete the donation form. We ask that all forms be completed before July 1, 2021.
